About Your Presenter:

Kathryn Crawford Gentle, a native of Alabama, and Partner of the Domestic Relations and Taxation division at Lloyd & Hogan, P.C., began advocating for families in the areas of family law, matrimonial and adoption law back in 2007 (involving issues of child support, child custody, enforcement, and divorce). Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she graduated cum laude and received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Marketing and University of Alabama School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2001. Upon graduation she became licensed in the State of Georgia and clerk for the Honorable Michael Murphy in Haralson County, Georgia. In 2002, Kathryn was a contract attorney for the law firm of King & Spalding, L.L.P. After going through her own divorce, Kathryn was determined to gain the understanding and experience necessary to become a skilled family law attorney. She helps individuals with issues involving child custody and child support every day in her practice of law. Kathryn has had intensive training in the art of Family Law Advocacy Skills at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and is passionate about the practice of domestic relations and family law. Some areas of experience with family law include, but are notlimited to, Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Adoptions, Modifications, Contempt Actions, Paternity, Pre – Post Nuptial Agreements, and Appeals.

Kathryn also has a strong background in tax resolution. She began negotiation on behalf of individuals and businesses with the I.R.S. and state taxing authorities in 2004. Her tax experience and knowledge has become a key skill in resolving complex cases regarding the division of assets with high marital estates. Kathryn is also licensed in the U.S. Tax Court. Her tax resolution skills focus on installment agreements, audit assistance and representation, offers in compromise, new business start-up, penalty reduction, levy release, innocent spouse relief, and non-collectible status.
