Porter FeildPorter Feild is a member of Burch, Porter and Johnson, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Arkansas. His practice focuses on general litigation, including matters in both state and federal court. He practices in the areas of real estate litigation, plaintiff personal injury and complex business litigation.

He is a graduate of the Cecil Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Memphis Law Review, and has served on the Board of Directors of the University of Memphis Alumni Association. He is involved in many civic and religious organizations and institutions throughout the community, including the Church of the River, the Sierra Club, and the Memphis Rotary Club.

Amit Sen holds an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Memphis and a B.A. (with Honors) in Political Science from Louisiana State University, where he was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He has taught philosophy at the University of Stony Brook (New York), Beloit College (Wisconsin), and for many years in Memphis, both at the University of Memphis and at Christian Brothers University.

He is co-translator (with Leonard Lawlor) of Jean Hyppolite’s Logic and Existence (SUNY Press, 1997). Mr. Sen has been an instructor at Kaplan Educational Services, a community course teacher (in family systems theory and therapy) at Jewish Family Services, and a private tutor in a variety of subjects. He has also performed locally as a singer-songwriter, in various permutations of his ongoing ensemble, The Also (The Apostles of Love Song Orchestra).
