David M. Anthony
David M. Anthony, Member at Bone McAllester Norton PLLC, concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, construction and lien litigation. Mr. Anthony represents clients throughout middle Tennessee in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. He also has significant experience representing financial institutions and other creditors in all aspects of the litigation process.
Mr. Anthony is a regular author and guest speaker on topics related to bankruptcy, post-judgment collections strategy, foreclosures, ethics, and trial practice.
He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Memphis in 1996 and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1999. At the University of Tennessee, Mr. Anthony was the recipient of the Matthews-Jeter Academic Scholarship and a Certificate of Academic Excellence in Law and Medicine Seminar. He also participated on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and in the 1999 James Baker Hughes Writing Competition of the Houston Journal of International Law.
Mr. Anthony is a member of the Tennessee, Nashville and American Bar Associations and is admitted to practice before all Tennessee state courts and the District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He is also an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
