K. David Waddell, of counsel in the Nashville office, focuses his practice in the area of bankruptcy and creditors' rights. Prior to joining the firm, he served as the Executive Secretary of the Tennessee Regulatory Authority. Mr. Waddell twice held the position of assistant commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, where he served as a liaison to the Tennessee General Assembly and the U.S. Congress. Additionally, he served as General Counsel from 1981 to 1986. Mr. Waddell was also Vice President of the Tennessee Association of Business from 1994 to 1996, and Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Lipscomb University from 2005 to 2006.
