Commercial leases are on the rise in Tennessee...
- Nissan is one of eight major headquarters relocations to Nashville in the last 36 months among corporations with $100 million-plus in revenues, including the 2006 leasing of 240,000 square feet of Class-A office space in the AT & T Tower.
- An 850,000 square foot open-air Providence Marketplace just opened in Mt. Juliet.
- Louisiana Pacific brought 200 jobs and took 90,000 square feet of space in the central business district and another 67,000 square feet of research space in Williamson County when it came to Tennessee.
- Triple Net raised its Middle Tennessee portfolio to three properties when it purchased the River Rock Business Center in Murfreesboro and One Nashville Place.
- And the list goes on...
As more and more companies like Nissan and Louisiana Pacific choose Tennessee for their operations, attorneys must understand the specific obligations of their tenant and landlord clients.
