W. M. Bains Fleming, III practices with the firm of Norman, Wood, Kendrick & Turner in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Fleming’s practice areas include
toxic and mass Torts, products liability, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, general insurance defense education. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the 2008 Pro Bono Honor Roll, and the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Mr. Fleming attended Washington and Lee University, earned his B.A. Politics, with a concentration in Environmental Studies. He attended the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University; J.D. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Rotaract Club of Birmingham and is currently the Club’s Service Director.
He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Fleming worked as Director of Fundraising Operations for one Florida’s premier political consulting firms. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, golf and watching sports.
